The Alluri Sitharama Raju District Administration, Government of Andhra Pradesh has released the official notification for ASHA Worker Recruitment 2026 to strengthen village-level primary healthcare services in Polavaram and Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR) Districts. This recruitment is aimed at appointing Accredited Social Health Activists at the village level through a direct selection process conducted by Village Health and Sanitation Committees. The recruitment is strictly location-specific, and eligible local women candidates with a minimum SSC qualification can apply through offline mode. Selection will be based on a merit system without any written examination.

• Download and read the official notification carefully to check eligibility conditions.
• Ensure that you are a permanent resident of the village for which the ASHA vacancy is notified.
• Obtain the offline application form (Annexure) mentioned in the notification.
• Fill the application form with accurate personal, educational, and residency details.
• Attach self-attested copies of required documents including SSC certificate, residence proof, marital status certificate, and other relevant certificates if applicable.
• Attend the Village Health and Sanitation Committee meeting scheduled in your respective village.
• Submit the filled application form along with documents to the concerned PHC Medical Officer through VHSNC.
• Complete the submission process on or before 20 February 2026.
