Visakhapatnam Port Authority Recruitment 2026 for 20 Trade Apprentice Posts

Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) has announced 20 Trade Apprentice vacancies for one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. The recruitment covers five trades: Welder, Electrician, Fitter, Motor Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) and Electronics Mechanic, with 4 vacancies available in each trade. Candidates who have completed ITI in the relevant trade can apply for these apprentice positions. Online applications through the NAPS Apprenticeship India portal started on 24 August 2026 and will remain open until 23 September 2026.

1. Visit the Apprenticeship India (NAPS) portal.
2. Register as a candidate if you are not already registered on the portal.
3. Log in and open the Apprentice Opportunity search section.
4. Select the relevant designated trade.
5. Choose Andhra Pradesh as the location.
6. Search for Visakhapatnam Port Authority as the establishment.
7. Select the relevant Trade Apprentice opportunity and click on the Apply option.
8. Complete the online application with the required information.
9. Upload the required ITI certificate and other supporting documents.
10. Submit the application on or before 23 September 2026 and retain a copy for future reference.
