Visakhapatnam Port Authority Recruitment 2026 for Senior Deputy Secretary Post

Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Senior Deputy Secretary (Class-I) (Dy. HoD) in the General Administration Department. A total of 1 vacancy has been announced under the pay scale of ₹80,000 – ₹2,20,000. This is a high-level Class-I post primarily meant for absorption of eligible officers from Major Port Authorities. Candidates must possess a recognized degree along with 12 years of executive experience in administration, personnel, or industrial relations in an Industrial, Commercial, or Government undertaking. The selection is purely merit-based through assessment of ACRs/APARs and service records. There is no written examination. The last date for online application and submission of hard copy is 10 March 2026.

2. Complete the online application form within the prescribed dates.
3. Submit the form online and take a printout of the completed application.
4. Attach attested copies of educational qualifications and experience certificates.
5. Enclose ACRs/APARs for the last 5 years with grading statement.
6. Attach Administrative Clearance, Vigilance Clearance, and No Objection Certificate from the parent Port Authority.
7. Include Undertaking not to withdraw candidature and Statement of service details as per annexures.
8. Superscribe the envelope clearly as “Application for the post of Sr. Deputy Secretary (Class – I) in Visakhapatnam Port Authority”.
